Grief and Loss Family Campout

Healing through land-based cultural activities and ceremony. A inclusive family camp-out based on tradition and incorporating culture and spirituality. As a family who have suffered tremendous loss and tragedy as many families have. We recognize the urgent need for healing and connection to culture and to community. We are offering a time to come together in a safe and sacred space to reconnect, learn and heal. As a daughter of a residential school survivor looking for healing for not only myself but my parents and children. I was astounded by the lack of real support and resources available for survivors of residential schools and there families as I embarked on my own healing journey one year ago. The amount of difficulty I had and jurisdictional barriers we faced trying to get to the nearest healing gathering I found in B.C led me here today. To create a spac…
